Piotr Ogrodnik and his crew Piotr Petryla and Grzegorz Banaczyk are the new World Champion 2014 in the ISAF recognized Micro Cupper Class. The team from Poland did a superb job: With 6 bullets out of 7 races they dominate the regatta hoisted by the Segler-Club Gothia e.V. in Berlin-Spandau. After a strong fight RUS 39 skippered by Gennadiy Svistunov wrestled down the former World Champion Piotr Tarnacki at the helm POL 77. Congratiulation to the winner of the World Championship 2014 and thank you very much to all competitors for coming to Berlin and fair racing.

Final day of the 38th Micro Cup – Micro Cupper Worldchampionship 2014 Berlin
The final day of 38th Micro Cup starts with fog due the rain yesterday. The forecast for today is very, very light winds from East, increasing to 2 Bft with gusts up to 3+ Bft, tricky conditions again for the 55 teams. We expect a hard fight between the Top 3 team POL 90, RUS 37 and POL 77 but with 6 bullets out of 7 races POL 90 is the dominant team of this regatta.
