The SC Gothia is ready for the 38. Micro Cup – Micro World Championship 2014 in Berlin! The harbour is empty and we are looking forward to welcome 51 52 Teams from 10 nations at our Club. The first participants have arrived and a team from Russia today made his first training session on the water.
The Segler-Club Gothia does not accept any credit card pays! Please transfer your entry fee and the camping fee to the bank account mentioned in the Notice-of-Race!
It is also important to know, that all expenses for food and drinks at the Segler-Club Gothia must be paid in cash!

‚Boot & Fun Berlin‘ Tradefair is partner of first World Championship in sailing in Berlin.
After being taken over into the portfolio of Messe Berlin GmbH, the Boot & Fun Berlin is on its best way to consolidate its strong position in the market of German boat shows.
In November 2013, some 37.000 visitors took the opportunity to learn about products of the water sports market . „Our strategy worked“, said Mr. Werner Mocke, Director at Messe Berlin GmbH, „Although the exhibition was shortened by one day, we achieved a visitor increase by approximately 15% compared to previous years.“
Against this background, the ‚Boot & Fun Berlin‘ becomes the partner of Berlin’s first World Championship in sailing. It supports the Segler-Club Gothia e.V. in organizing the 38th Micro Cup – Micro World Championship of 19 – 26 July 2014.
The Berlin-Spandau based SC Gothia e.V. hopes for 60 yachts and numerous participants from more than 10 nations. Besides participants from Germany, sailors from Russia, Poland, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium and the Netherlands are expected in Berlin.
Messe Boot und Fun Berlin ist Partner der 1. Weltmeisterschaft im Segelsport in Berlin
Mit der Übernahme der Berliner Bootsmesse in das Eigenveranstaltungsportfolio der Messegesellschaft Berlin GmbH ist die Boot & Fun Berlin auf dem besten Weg, ihre starke Stellung innerhalb des Marktes der deutschen Bootsmessen weiter zu festigen.
Rund 37.000 Besucher nutzten im November 2013 die Gelegenheit, sich auf der Berliner Bootmesse über das aktuelle Angebot im Bereich Wassersport zu informieren. „Unsere Strategie ist voll aufgegangen“ erklärt Herr Werner Mocke, Direktor bei der Messe Berlin GmbH, „Trotz der um einen Tag verkürzten Messedauer haben wir einen Besucherzuwachs um ca. 15 % im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren erzielt!“
Vor diesem Hintergrund übernimmt die Messe Boot & Fun Berlin die Partnerschaft für die 1. Weltmeisterschaft im Segelsport in Berlin und unterstützt den Segler-Club Gothia e.V. bei der Ausrichtung des 38. Micro Cup – Micro World Championship vom 19. – 26. Juli 2014.
Der in Berlin-Spandau beheimatete SC Gothia rechnet zu dieser Weltmeisterschaft mit ca. 60 Yachten und zahlreichen Teilnehmern aus mehr als 10 Nationen. Neben Seglerinnen und Seglern aus Deutschland werden auch Gäste aus Russland, Polen, Slowenien, Österreich, Italien, Frankreich, Belgien und den Niederlanden in Berlin erwartet.
