Day 2 – Update

The measurement for the Micro World Championship is closed for today. 55 boats have passed the prodecure by now and there is a rumor that 3 boats are still on the road to Berlin. It was a hot summer day in Berlin,  +34 º Celsius and very light wind over the hole day. Right now a thermal breeze from the north build up and many teams left the harbour for a sail trial.

Yesterday more than 25 boats made it through the measurement procedure for the 38. Micro Cup. The rest of the fleet for the World Championship is looking forward to join them today. A lot of teams are still on the road to Berlin so there is a good chance that more than 60 boats will be at the start for Race Nr. 01 on Tuesday, 22th July!

Day 1 – Micro World Championship – Measurement

The frist 2 days of the 38th Micro Cup – Micro World Championship 2014 in Berlin belongs to the chief measurer Manfred Bauendahl and his team by members of the Segler-Club Gothia e.V. . 57 boats including late entries have registered for the Worlds, 38 teams have passed the check-in by now.

More then 50 teams from 10 Nations signed in for 38th Micro Cup – Micro World Championship in Berlin. Today the World Wchampionship starts at the Segler-Club Gothia e.V. with the mesurement of the boats and there equiment. After passing the measurement the boat will lift by crane to the water for the World Championship. Stay tune for more news and updates.
